Ever wonder what it takes to fly high in the sky? What better place than the National Aviary to answer that question and more during its 2009 Flight Camp! Participants will explore all the mysteries of natural and artificial flight with the National Aviary, the Carnegie Science Center, and the Challenger Learning Center.

Learn how planes are designed and what aeronautics engineers have learned about flight from birds. Explore and test all the cool principles of physics that are needed to fly in the sky and even in space.
Pre- and Post-Care available for a nominal fee.
- Ages 6 – 8: July 13–17 -- All sessions meet
- Ages 9 – 11 July 20–24 -- 9 a.m. – 3 pm Mon – Thurs
- Ages 12 – 14 July 27–31 -- 9 a.m. – 4 pm Friday
Fee: $175 members/ $195 non-members
