When: Sunday, October 25th, 2009. Registration begins at 10 am.
Where: Goddard State Park Carousel, 1095 Ives Road, Warwick, Rhode Island 02818
Cost: The registration fee is $10 and includes entry to the costume contest, refreshments, and a Door Prize raffle ticket. The $10.00 registration fee is based on a (1) dog and (1) handler combination. Single handler with multiple dogs will be $5.00 per dog, not to exceed $20.00
First 50 registered participants receive goody bags.
Halloween isn't just for the kids anymore....Halloween has gone to the dogs! So get those costumes ready and come on down to Goddard State Park this Sunday for a fun-filled morning of Costumes, Prizes & Refreshments.
Local "celebrity" judges are ready to view and award PRIZES for these fun categories:
- Best Costume (Jr. & Adult)
- Best Dog/Owner Look-A-Like Costume
- Best Group/Theme Costume
- Most "PAW"satively Creative Costume
- Marvin's Favorite Costume
And don't forget! Professional pet photographer Maria Giannini
will have a great fall theme set up for pictures! Have your dog(s)
photo taken (in or out of costume, whichever you prefer!) you can

By attending this event you will not only have a great time, but you will be helping the RISPCA house and feed over 100 domestic animals per day! The shelter strives to find ways to raise funds while supporters can have a great time. The Annual Halloween Costume Contest is just another one of the RISPCA's "fun"raisers.
