Celebrate Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month at NLOL Chicago
NLOL (Chicago, Illinois 60618) prides itself on finding homes for those who sometimes would not have such an easy job of finding their own.
November 14, 2009
That being said, NLOL Chicago has a soft spot for our "senior" (in body) friends.
If you are interested in adding a new member to your family, look into adopting a senior dog. NLOL Chicago has several senior dogs waiting to find their forever homes.
Pictured at right are Walter and Felix. Walter is an 11-year-old Bichon Frise with the mind of a puppy! Just like his brother, Felix, he loves to work for his treats. NLOL has been working with him on waiting patiently, but he always catches on quickly. This little guy would be the perfect cuddle bug, perfectly content with warming your lap at any given time. Walter sometimes does forget his size, and gets a little excited around some larger dogs, but he will always calm down quickly with a little assurance and a lot of love.
Felix is a lovable 9-year-old Shih Tzu. Complete ham! This youngling loves his belly rubs, and is just looking to get loved on. He is very people-driven and is more than prepared to accept a treat from you. He’s a gentle little soul, ready to be in his forever home with his brother, Walter.
Because these two have spent their lives together, NLOL would like the rest of their lives to be together. They are currently in a foster home with dogs and cats. They’re very low maintenance, relaxed pooches who still have lots of love to give. Please contact New Leash today if you are interested in these beautiful boys!
