Early Bird Special (Pittsburgh, PA)

— filed under:

Spend an early morning with over 600 exotic and endangered birds at the National Aviary (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212).

November 1, 2009

Join National Aviary trainers for a continental breakfast, during which you’ll enjoy live bird presentations. Talk with the staff, learn fascinating facts, and take photos. Following breakfast, go behind the scenes to the National Aviary’s kitchen where you’ll find out what the birds are eating that morning. Then it’s on to hand-feed the birds in the Aviary's free-flight exhibit rooms. The morning concludes with a colorful encounter in the Lories & Friends exhibit. All guests will be given nectar cups to share with the National Aviary’s colorful flock of rainbow lorikeets.
