"Get Your Licks on Route 66" Pet Adoption Tour (Comstock Park, Michigan)
The Humane Society of Kent County (Grand Rapids, Michigan 49534) is teaming up with BISSELL and North Shore Animal League America (Port Washington, New York 11050) for "Get Your Licks on Route 66," which helps give shelter animals new homes, spread awareness about the importance of adoption and offer tips to "pet parents" to simplify pet clean-up.

Join the Humane Society of Kent County at the Wal-Mart Supercenter (3999 Alpine Ave. NW, Comstock Park, Michigan 49321) for this mobile adoption event, where it will have a variety of its adoptable animals available on North Shore Animal League America's 36-foot mobile adoption unit. There will be free giveaways from both BISSELL and the Humane Society of Kent County and of course many pets looking to find their forever homes.
When: June 30, 2009 from 2 pm to 6 pm
