Nevada Humane Society: Pet Food Drive
This Thanksgiving, the Nevada Humane Society (Reno, Nevada 89502) is hosting a week-long Pet Food Drive from Thursday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 25.

The Nevada Humane Society is asking for non-perishable and unopened dog or cat food - one can of food will feed a cat for a day or a large bag could feed a dog for a month.
The pet food will be used for the homeless animals in the shelter as well as for the shelter's Pet Food Assistance Program. This provides pet food on a short-term basis for those who cannot afford to feed their pets and assists feral cat caregivers throughout the neighborhoods.
