It provides an open forum for sharing our stories, for support and comfort of each other and other Guardians and Caregivers, increasing emotional well-being, promoting healing, and improving the quality of life, by knowing that in spite of illness or loss, we are not alone.

In an effort to promote, enhance, and improve awareness of the importance of the human/non human bond, the DOGS web site includes information on a wide variety of topics and links, replacing the “dogs are disposable” attitude for the betterment of society.
