Adoptable Pet of the Day: Tiny Tim

This little bit of a guy is Tiny Tim. His friends just call him Tim. Weighing in at barely 6 pounds this still-spry 10 year old was found wandering the streets of New York City. He was oh-so-relieved to be rescued and transported to the quiet suburbs of NJ.

Tim is neutered, up to date with his shots, housebroken, and crate trained. According to the shelter vet, he had a severe allergic reaction to fleas and he has lost much of his fur. He is now flea-free and much more comfortable. Hopefully his coat will grow back and he'll be the fluffy Maltese he once must have been. Tim gets along with the other dogs in his foster home although he isn't one to be bossed around. He likes to snooze peacefully until he feels like begging for snuggles from his foster mom. He is definitely a lover, not a barker!

Tim is a wonderful companion. He's calm, gentle, and he always appreciates his good fortune as a Rawhide Rescue senior. Because of his age and his tiny size he will not be placed in a home with young children.
