Adoptable Pet of the Day: Enzo

Enzo is super fun to watch tunnel in his bedding and run on his wheel. Please come to the Seattle Animal Shelter to meet him.

Gerbils become used to people and handling quickly, and come to the cage door to talk to you at dinner time. They prefer gerbil food, small bites of fresh veggies and fruit and maybe a nice piece of tofu now and then. Gerbils make great apartment pets. They don’t take up too much room and their cages are super easy to clean. They do like to stay up late at night and run on their wheel so a “quiet” wheel is a must.
