Loyal, affectionate and loving, Aretha gets bored easily and will need plenty of exercise and adventure. True to her breed characteristics, she is strong-willed, tenacious, and powerful, and as a result needs an experienced dog owner who is assertive and will provide her with consistent handling.

Comical, playful, and mischievous, Aretha can be imaginative and likes to see things her way. She can be stubborn and independent but for all her tough bravado she has the potential to become a first-class companion dog due to her extremely sweet and affectionate nature!

If offered daily physical and mental exercise, Aretha will become devoted to her new owner.
