Adoptable Pet of the Day: Clancy

— filed under:

Clancy is a sweet but very shy 7-year-old male cat available for adoption from Animal Talk Rescue (Seattle, Washington 98115).

September 11, 2009

Clancy was left in a box on the doorstep at a pet store with a note that said they where getting rid of him after seven years of ownership. Clancy has probably never been to a new environment and was very scared when he came to the rescue, but is warming up and is a very sweet, quiet guy. He is looking for his forever home with people who understand how to handle cats. Clancy is a very sweet boy, but when frightened/cornered he can be defensive, probably because of lack of proper socialization/handling when he was younger.

PetWork note: Some lucky pets may already have found their forever homes by the time you meet them here, but don't worry. There are plenty of other wonderful pets who would be happy to share your home and love you to pieces.
