The Merrick Fund Foundation (Harrisburg, Pennsylanvia 17111) was created in honor of Merrick, a yellow lab, who died after many hours of suffering without a veterinarian’s care. Since September of last year, the Foundation has been providing funding to central Pennsylvania rescues and shelters, for emergency medical expenses and catastrophic medical expenses, for adoptable animals. The fund has enabled other animals in dire need to be treated for their ills, easing their suffering and adopting into loving homes.

100% of donations are used for medical expenses. The Director pays all fund administrative costs.
