Adoptable Senior: Betsy

Have you ever heard of a dog that climbs into the tub because she WANTS a bath? Betsy's that girl! This senior "bagel" (that's a Basset/Beagle mix) is in search of her forever family -- could it be yours?

While many people may shy away from the idea of adopting a senior dog, just ask anyone who has -- they're all about love. And Betsy is no exception. While she may have her quirks (don't we all?!) she's a very active gal who would like nothing more to have a permanent family to call her own. 

Betsy was surrendered to a local humane society because her owner was not able to take care of her. According to her foster mom, “She is very smart and adaptable. She is a talker when she has something to say and has a large vocabulary. But she is also a peaceful babe when she is content, which is most of the time. She gets excited at mealtime and sounds like a seal! She LOVES the walks around the neighborhood. She loves to be brushed with a wire brush and has several tickle spots.”

Betsy is approximately 12 years old but is still very active and super sweet. Oh – and one more thing – she loves to give kisses!
