Adoptable Senior: Desiree

Desiree is a sweet, confident girl who was rescued from the animal shelter in 2001, adopted as a kitten but then returned several years later.

Desiree is very affectionate and arches her back for pets and rubs as soon as you approach her. She has the cutest little stub tail - it's around half the size it should be and is either a birth defect or the result of an old injury she suffered as a baby.

Desiree is used to living in a home with several other cats, though she would do just fine on her own. The most important thing is that she has someone who will brush and pet her and give her lots of love and attention.
