Adoptable Special Needs: Rosie

— filed under:

Rosie is a timid but bright and sweet-natured adult female Australian Shepherd/Collie mix available for adoption from the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City (Kansas City, Kansas 66104)

August 9, 2009

Rosie is a beautiful little Australian Shepherd/Collie mix. She's got a sweet little face and a beautiful coat. She's medium size, weighing just 31 lbs.

Rosie was very timid when she first came to the shelter. She'd obviously not been well socialized. She's made incredible progress and is doing so much better now. She absolutely adores the shelter's kennel attendant and she's befriended the volunteers as well. Rosie bonds extremely well with people once she gets to know them, and she's very sweet natured and bright. She'll just need a quiet home with someone who will take the time to socialize her more and be patient with her while she settles in. With a little time, she should become a wonderful companion for someone.

PetWork note: Some lucky pets may already have found their forever homes by the time you meet them here, but don't worry. There are plenty of other wonderful pets who would be happy to share your home and love you to pieces.
