Betty and Bailey are recent additions to the NLOL family. They were left at one of its partner boarding facilities after spending 7 and 8 years in what they thought was their forever home. As their previous family grew, their parents didn't think they could handle four children, and the four-legged pair had to go. The owner of the boarding facility told NLOL of what happened, and they just knew they had to help find these two gems a new home.
Bailey is an 8-year-old Lab/Retriever mix. Although NLOL does sometimes catch him playing with a ball, he is the more laid-back of this pair, and is definitely Betty's big brother. He will cruise the daycare, and check out what the other dogs are doing, but he steers clear of any rough-housing and silliness.
Betty is a 7-year-old pretty brindle gal. She is silly and fun, and does the playing for the pair. Betty will bounce around for the ball, but she's above running with the herd to play fetch. If any of her favorite employees dare sit down, she is trying to figure a way to get her head in their laps ASAP! From having many conversations with Betty's previous dad over the years, she knows that Betty was always involved with her human siblings, and was a gentle girl around the children.
Both of these kids are housetrained, and NLOL has been told both were good with children, which makes it a shame that they are looking for new homes. They have been together their entire lives, and New Leash would really love to place them in the same home. The pair would be an easy addition to any home, as they are well-behaved adult dogs, who just want to be loved in a home of their own once again.

PetWork note: Some lucky pets may already have found their forever homes by the time you meet them here, but don't worry. There are plenty of other wonderful pets who would be happy to share your home and love you to pieces.
