Adoptable Senior: Buttermilk

— filed under:

Buttermilk is a sweet and curious 11-year-old female cat available for adoption from The Partnership for Animal Welfare (Greenbelt, Maryland 20768).

May 12, 2009

Buttermilk is an 11-year-old pure white cat with thick plush fur. When her time was up at a local shelter, PAW redeemed Buttermilk and her kittens and made room in a comfortable foster home where she could relax and raise her family.

Buttermilk is sweet, attentive, and curious. She enjoys being shown attention in little bursts of talking and petting, and likes to jump up on your lap occasionally, but doesn't enjoy being picked up. She likes things on her own terms (what cat doesn't?) and will let you brush her for short periods of time.

Buttermilk lives with several other cats and gets along quite well around them, but is not a good candidate as a close cat companion to another cat and would be happy to just be by herself.

PetWork note: Some lucky pets may already have found their forever homes by the time you meet them here, but don't worry. There are plenty of other wonderful pets who would be happy to share your home and love you to pieces.
